Background:
Keen to travel, learn and experience different coaching cultures Adam spent time in the New Zealand Sports Academy during his degree years as a strength & conditioning coach and then upon receiving his degree was fortunate enough to be offered a sports science/S & C internship at the Melbourne Rebels in Australia. Having always held the belief that exercise is not just for performance but also critical in improving quality of life Adam furthered his education with an MSc in Clinical Exercise Physiology and Diploma in Sports Massage and worked in Edinburgh as both a Personal Trainer and Clinical Exercise Physiologist in NHS Hospitals.
This experience places Adam is in the unique position of understanding the full spectrum of an individual’s capabilities having worked with everyone from elite-level athletes to those with chronic health conditions. Combined with his unrivalled passion for health and fitness Adam understands that to achieve your training goals, hard work, innovativeness and responsiveness on his behalf will ensure that the scientifically underpinned training methods we use will create an enjoyable, rewarding and goal-specific training environment that will be safe and effective.
Adam also regularly runs S&C workshops and consults with numerous teams and sporting clubs on how to optimize team performance.

Background:
Coming from a competitive sporting background being involved in multiple sports including hurling, football, soccer and rugby Colin developed a strong interest in strength & conditioning and began to train athletes as well as members of the general public. During the completion of his 4-year degree course with the University of Limerick, Colin was awarded an 8-month work placement with the University of Sydney, Faculty of Health Sciences. During this time he had the opportunity to work with extraordinary athletes including elite level cyclists and runners.
With an interest in injury rehabilitation and injury prevention, Colin has experience in getting both athletes and active individuals back to full health post-injury. Having previously worked with individuals coming back from serious injuries such as ACL ruptures, shoulder subluxations/ dislocations and many more, Colin has an interest in all stages of the recovery process with a particular interest in end-stage and return to play. Combining Colin’s qualifications and experience he will help you to achieve your fitness and performance goals by implementing research-based and scientifically proven programming.
Currently working with youth athletes from various sports such as GAA, soccer, sailing, martial arts etc, promoting longevity and best practices in relation to everything from functional movement screening, promoting correct movement patterns, weight training, conditioning, pre-hab (injury prevention), best nutritional practices and recovery methods.
Currently working as strength and conditioning coach with various local GAA teams including Carrigaline, Eire OG, Whitechurch GAA. Regularly run fitness testing with clubs in order to programme individualized strength programmes for athletes as well as periodizing the training year for clubs in order to better cope with the demands of their chosen sport.

Background:
Frank started as a member of DT Fitness & Performance more than 4 years ago. Thanks to his determination and eagerness to learn he was offered an internship as a coach in 2018. Under Adam and Colin’s coaching expertise and upon completing his qualifications as a Personal Trainer, Frank has gained a place as a full-time coach implementing and developing our results-driven training techniques. Frank currently trains a number of clients on a one on one basis with all levels of fitness catered for. This is all in conjunction with Frank holding down a permanent job, which means Frank understands exactly the balancing act between work/family commitments and how to lead a sustainable healthy life. His easy-going personality, knowledge and positive approach to training makes him one of DT Fitness & performance’s greatest assets.
He is currently enrolled to complete his S&C accreditation in December 2019.
